About Us
Who are we?
We are a student-run journal that publishes research and current events related to the legal field. Beginning in October 2024, five students believed that a law review for the University of North Carolina at Charlotte would be incredibly beneficial to those interested in a future career in the law and those who find interest in the law.
How do we operate?
We operate in two ways. First, we have a blog that regularly publishes student-written articles on current events and interesting changes in the legal field, both in the United States and worldwide. Important case decisions, changes to local and federal statutes, and interesting legal topics having to do with all fields can be found in our blog.
Secondly, we publish a semi-annual publication during the Fall and Spring academic semesters. In these student-written publications, you can find long-form scholarly articles that dive deeper into fascinating legal topics. Important U.S. Supreme Court cases, relevant questions about the future, and paramount changes in the legal world can be found in the publications.
What can you get out of the ULRC?
As a reader, you can find credible and current updates on interesting topics written in either the blog or publications. As a writer, you can improve your general and legal writing skills. You can also find specific interests in the law, and become an expert on what you may find relevant to your future in the legal field. We advocate that no matter your major, interests, or career plans, you can find a reason to be a part of The Undergraduate Law Review at Charlotte.
